RootsTech 2022

Rootstech 2022

Rootstech starts

UPDATE:   2pm Thursday 3 March NZDT

I have two On Demand sessions and also a LIVE Recording Memories activity for you to do.

Then with Michelle Patient and guests, under the Talking Family History banner we have three LIVE Q&A sessions.

If you want some help navigating the website have a look at this page:

A Guide to Navigating the RootsTech 2022 Website

What should I do first?

I recommend that if you want to make the most of participating in the event, look for the live sessions first and you can watch the On Demand videos later.

To find the live sessions, login to the Rootstech website and then on the menu in the top right of the screen, choose Calendar (or just click on this link: https://www.familysearch.org/rootstech/calendar)

The great thing about the Calendar is that it shows the sessions in your local time-zone (based on your login profile in FamilySearch).

You can select those you are interested in and add them to your Playlist by clicking on the Plus button on the right hand side. Then add them to your diary/calendar so that you remember to attend.

Which Sessions to watch?

You can search the sessions in multiple ways - speaker, topic, location and more (and there's more about navigating the website in the link above).

But one thing that might help is to turn the filter on for Year to only get the 2022 content.

You can add sessions to your playlist now.
