Capture, organise and share your family history.
The Family History NoteBook gives you a structured place to record the people, relationships, sources and stories that make up a family history.
Whether you're beginning your research, bringing together discoveries you've already made, creating a family record to share, or looking for a thoughtful gift for a new family historian, this book helps organise what is known and provides space to add new discoveries as the research grows.
And because families don't all look the same, the book doesn't decide what a family should look like. You choose the two family lines you want to explore. They might represent two parental lines, biological and adoptive families, or simply two branches of a family you want to record.
What's inside?
The notebook combines ancestry charts and family group sheets so you can see how generations connect while recording more detailed information about each family.
There is also dedicated space for research sources and notes, encouraging you to record not only what you've discovered, but where that information came from.
Throughout the notebook, relationship labels have deliberately been kept to a minimum, giving you flexibility to record the families and relationships that are meaningful to the family you are researching.
Made to work with your research
You don't have to complete the notebook in order. Start with what you know, leave space for what you don't, and return to add new discoveries as your research continues.
If you already organise your family history using colours, circles on the cover and strips along the page edges can be coloured to fit your own filing system.
A thoughtful gift for a family historian
Looking for a gift for someone who has just discovered family history? The Family History Notebook gives a new researcher a practical place to begin recording what they know and organising what they discover.
It can also make a special gift for a junior genealogist, encouraging them to start with the people and stories they already know and discover more by talking to parents, grandparents and other family members.
Who knows where that first family history discovery might lead?

My digital products have an immediate download option once you purchase, but I also send you an email with a link to the downloads.
Downloads that are large or have multiple items in them will come as a Zip File. This allows me to send you one file or folder with everything you need in it.
When you download the files, these will either save to your Download folder on your computer or you may be given the choice of choosing where you download the files to (find out how to do this if you are using Google Chrome here). The main thing is to remember where you have saved them, so that you can find them again.
If your download is a Zip file then you next need to unzip it. On a PC you can right click on the file/folder name and choose "Extract All". This will then create an unzipped folder with the same name. On a Mac you can double-click on the .zip file to expand it. Once the file is unzipped you can then use it like any other file on your computer.
